::: Northline Online Despatch System (NODS) :::

The Northline Online (web based) Despatch System allows you to enter your customer despatch details in real time online.

You have the ability to print bar coded box labels and bar coded consignment notes together with a despatch report.

Alternatively you may wish to operate a paperless despatch system, with the consignment note details stored online for later retrieval if required. In the paperless mode of operation, Northline will print the Proof of Delivery (POD) and have it signed at the end destination for scanning into our image retrieval system.

Our Online Despatch System also has the ability to import your customer despatch details direct from your computerised despatch system.

An example of the NODS sequence is set out below:

1. The consignment note entry screen where your
customer’s despatch details are entered.

2. After saving the customer despatch information a bar coded
consignment note can be printed if required.

3. A bar coded box label can be printed as well, with the ability
to print on a standard laser or inkjet printer, or a high speed
thermal (Zebra) printer.

4. After the consignment notes have been exported to
our system a despatch report / summary can be printed ready
for the freight to be picked up by Northline.
